As most contractors out there will know you can’t just build on any piece of land, surveys need to be carried out, in addition to the planning surveys, environmental assessments and surveys need to be conducted to ensure the land is not contaminated and the fawner & flora are taken into account, in addition you are not endangering or disturbing the wildlife on the site.

Let me tell you briefly about reptile fencing, Under the 1981 Wildlife and Countryside Act, there is a ban on disturbing a whole range of animals at various times of the year. Reptile fencing is a temporary fence constructed to allow the collect or relocate of the species living on your site.

Environmental remediation is another service I can offer to you which is the process of removing all contaminated soil from your construction site, whether the soil is contaminated with oil or asbestos I will assess the contamination situation and advise the safest, least hazardous way to remove or decontaminate the soil so construction work can start or continue. Without the above services your project just wouldn’t start or if you did start construction on contaminated land or you endangered protected species your project will be stopped and fines will be issued, in the case of endangered species fines up to £5000 per animal disturbed can be issued or even six months imprisonment.
