Wear it Pink 2009
Friday October 30th 2009 was Wear it Pink day 2009, staff came into work wearing something pink and made a donation to raise money for breast cancer research.
Donations of Wear it Pink help to fund innovative, world-class research throughout the UK and Ireland to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.
This year was a good turnout again and everyone was in high spirit, even the lads in the yard ditched their yellow hi-vis jackets in favour of pink ones. Better still we managed to beat last years total and raise £426.62. Well done to everyone that wore something pink and donated you're helping a great cause.
