We are conversant with the Railway Safety Critical Work Regulations 1994. We are regularly engaged by the main contractor under ECI (Early Contractor Involvement), and we attend the Interdisciplinary Collaboration meeting with Network Rail, London Underground and various train operating companies.
Scaffold Design for the Rail Sector
With 4 directly employed temporary works engineers based in our head office and access to external design consultants, clients can be confident that we have the experience and resource to design within the unique environment and site working limitations specific to the rail sector.
We are competent in managing Network Rail Form 2 and 3 and London Underground Conceptual Design Statement submissions.
Using both our internal and external design teams we are able to offer CAT 2 or CAT 3 design packages and are experienced in designing around platform clearances, kinematic train envelopes and signal sighting sweeps and other sector specific hazards.
System Scaffolding for the Rail Sector
Wherever practicable, we will utilise HAKI Universal system scaffolding for programme acceleration. It is quick to erect and dismantle in comparison to traditional tube and fitting so is ideal for possession working when time is often limited.
In addition to HAKI Universal, we have invested heavily in HAKI Public Access Stairs (PAS) and HAKI Bridge System (HBS) and utilise both when providing temporary Public access solutions on the Rail Infrastructure.
