Q3 Project Highlights

Alltask Scaffold Hungerford Bridge

In Q3, our teams delivered a wide range of projects across the South East, from Aureos’ suspended scaffold platform at Glynde Reach Bridge and Bam Nuttall’s main works on the Rivers Alde and Deben, to specialist access for Biffa Waste Services, CBS, CMDP, and Murphy Power Networks. We supported emergency and demolition scaffolding at Kew Gardens and Bush House, while Kier Integrated Services, Octavius Infrastructure, and others entrusted us with varied works from Wellesley Road to Chalkwell Station. Rail projects remained a key focus, with Sonic Rail Services commissioning works across the Eden, Colne, and Frome river bridges, and Volker Fitzpatrick engaging us at Priory Road, West St Leonards, Putney Station, and Barnes Bridge.

We also delivered flat roof works at Westminster for Walter Lilly—together reflecting the breadth of our expertise and the trust of our clients.

Most notably, we have secured the next phase of Hungerford Bridge for SRE, covering Spans 1, 2, 3 & 4, with a contract value of just over £5 million, marking a key milestone and highlighting the strength of our rail division.

We also secured two further key contracts for the Main Order for Bush House, starting next week, and the London School of Economics for McLaren, also starting next week. In addition, we are pushing Project Apple forward, with another £1.5M worth of work just about to be instructed.

Our Luton office also secured important wins, including access works at Rothchild House, 88 Meridian House, and The Belvedere in Chelsea. We supported Luton Borough Council with projects at Surrey St School and Alsace Cottages, provided bespoke gantries for Structura UK Ltd at 200 Grays Inn Road, and installed Defender Roof Edge Protection at Luton and Dunstable Hospital—further demonstrating our ability to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative access solutions.

Meanwhile, our Insulation division secured new contracts across multiple sectors: pipeline renewal at Sembcorp Wilton, economiser replacement at Smurfit Westrock, insulation removal at Bacton Gas Terminal, hanger replacement at Diss Compressor Station, acoustic insulation at Cambridge Compressor Station, and new works at Nyetimber Winery. Looking ahead, the division is entering its busiest period in a decade, with major projects set to raise the benchmark for delivery. To meet this demand, several experienced insulators are stepping into Black Hat and Chargehand roles—strengthening teams on-site and building the next generation of supervision within Alltask.

Our Asbestos Department has continued to demonstrate its versatility this quarter, tackling both licensed and non-licensed works across a diverse range of sites. From complex removals in historic buildings such as Shepherd Neame Brewery to challenging demolition environments at Maria Fidelis, the team has shown expertise in managing hidden risks safely and effectively. These projects highlight our ability not only to deliver essential asbestos services but also to support wider packages including demolition, waste management, and lead paint removal, ensuring a comprehensive solution for our clients.

As we move into Q4, we look forward to building on this momentum, taking on new challenges, and continuing to deliver outstanding results for our clients.
