Scaffolding Contractors - The history of Alltask
Formed in 1992 by Daniel Fincham and Doug Shearer, Alltask has continuously developed and evolved from being a firm of scaffolding contractors, to a leading access and support services subcontractor.
The founders originally identified a gap in the scaffolding services market to create a high service level offering from a smaller business, combined with the systems and support that the clients of that time required.
Within two years of its conception, we had our first power station maintenance contract. Quickly, we added various industrial clients and developed our scaffolding contractors operating strategy across multiple sectors where clients needed scaffolding and associated services
Our strategy was to continue to re-invest in the business and its staff. We purchased our first freehold yard in 1996, the same year as we invested in two demountable roll-on/roll-off HGVs.
From the use of renewable energies in our offices in 2006 to our first all-electric vehicle in 2014, we have continued to invest in a future for the business and its staff.
Today, Alltask is a modern, versatile, client concentric multi-disciplinary contractor, specialising in a range of cost-driven integrated solutions covering scaffolding, asbestos management and thermal insulation to serve the ever-changing construction, engineering, and refurbishment sectors.
