As part of our ongoing partnership with Kier, Alltask was proud to support Brooklands Museum’s Grand Prix Centenary celebrations.
Located adjacent to Kier’s Haleon Building project in Weybridge, Brooklands Museum hosted a landmark event celebrating 100 years since Britain’s first Grand Prix. The event brought together an impressive collection of historic and modern Grand Prix vehicles and welcomed thousands of visitors to the original home of British motorsport.
Through Kier’s commitment to delivering social value within the local community, Alltask provided the scaffolding expertise required to help support this special event.
Scope of Works
Our Scaffolding Division was tasked with designing and erecting a series of bespoke scaffold structures to support large-format event signage and branding throughout the museum grounds.
The structures included a prominent entrance gantry displaying the Brooklands Museum branding, together with additional scaffold-supported displays designed to enhance the visitor experience and celebrate the heritage of Grand Prix racing.
All works were completed safely and efficiently within a live environment, ensuring the structures were ready ahead of the celebrations.
Given the scale and visibility of the event, the structures required careful planning and coordination to ensure they met both the operational requirements of the museum and the visual impact expected for such an important event.
Utilising our experience in temporary works and specialist scaffolding solutions, our team delivered robust structures capable of supporting the required signage while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
The completed installations formed a key feature of the event and provided an impressive gateway and focal point for visitors attending the celebrations.
