Alltask has been approached by British Gas On Demand — following over 15 years of service delivered to their Central Heating Installation (CHI) business stream — to explore how we can support their Electrical Services division. This division focuses on removing old equipment that may contain asbestos, with the potential for broader involvement in asbestos removal across British Gas’s national field operations.
British Gas’s Electrical Services is part of its expanding On Demand portfolio, which delivers nationwide installations, maintenance, and emergency response. As the UK moves towards safer, smarter, and more energy-efficient homes, the demand for trusted specialists in legacy material management — particularly asbestos — is more critical than ever.
Alltask’s long-standing relationship with the CHI stream has seen us complete over £6.9 million in works for British Gas, including asbestos removal, sampling, and support across a wide range of domestic and regional contracts.
With the Electrical Services division now seeking to develop a structured national approach, this could mark the beginning of a significant collaboration with one of the UK’s most established energy providers.
