Alltask was recently called upon to support emergency works after significant damage occurred to a jetty structure in Erith.
Drawing on designs and RAMS developed for previous work, we were able to react quickly and mobilise the required scaffolding solutions at short notice. Our team designed and installed a combination of access platforms, counter lever scaffolds and support scaffolds that were adapted as the work progressed.
The location posed unique challenges, with operations governed by the tidal cycle. The scaffolding had to be carefully planned and constructed to allow safe access at varying water levels while ensuring stability and resilience in a demanding riverside environment.
The completed structure - as shown in the accompanying images - demonstrates the scale and technical complexity of the response. Multiple working levels were created to allow teams to carry out inspections and repairs, with reinforced platforms providing secure access in areas otherwise impossible to reach.
The quick deployment and adaptability of our scaffolding enabled repair teams to access and stabilise the damaged structure safely and efficiently, demonstrating Alltask’s capability to respond to complex and time-critical challenges.
