Alltask is pleased to be supporting the refurbishment of the roof and glass canopy at Fulham Broadway Station by providing specialist beamed access scaffolding. The works form part of a wider upgrade to the existing canopy and roof structure, enhancing safety, durability, and increasing the amount of natural light reaching the platforms.
Delivering complex access solutions within a live transport environment requires careful planning and close collaboration. The station needs to remain fully operational throughout the works, with zero disruption to passengers and services.
Alltask is installing a bespoke beamed access scaffold system, working alongside Prime Scaffold and Structural Designs Limited (PSD) who carried out the scaffold design, enabling safe and efficient access to the canopy and roof areas while maintaining clear, unobstructed platform spaces below.
All works are being carried out during engineering hours, ensuring no impact on the normal running of the station. A strong focus on safety, coordination, and sequencing is key to the successful delivery of this project.
The access solution will enable the safe replacement and upgrade of the canopy and roof structure, supporting improved longevity and performance while enhancing the station environment for passengers.
A great example of teamwork, specialist access expertise, and collaborative delivery within a live rail setting.
