Heavy Duty Scaffolding

Images of two heavy-duty free-standing scaffolds erected at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.  Designed and built to support two MRI Scanners weighing 3 tonnes each which were lifted into place using a 450-tonne mobile crane.

Early in 2023, the Royal Sussex County Hospital will relocate the Imaging Department to a new building in front of the hospital. To facilitate the relocation, the two MRI scanners were delivered from the road in front of the hospital before being moved inside.
