We are pleased to share that TICA‑ACAD, the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association and the leading voice for the UK cryogenic insulation industry, recently visited Grain LNG Limited to see first-hand the outstanding work being delivered by our Alltask insulation team.
The visit was arranged and hosted by Charlie Griffin-Jones, who provided TICA‑ACAD representatives with an overview of the current insulation projects taking place on site. This was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the high standards of workmanship, safety, and technical expertise that our teams consistently deliver.
As many of you will know, LNG is a critical part of the UK’s energy security strategy, and the quality of cryogenic insulation applied to LNG pipework is fundamental to maintaining the integrity and performance of the system. With Grain LNG being one of Europe’s largest importation terminals, this work carries significant national importance—something our teams continue to rise to with professionalism and pride.
TICA‑ACAD were keen to stay updated on the practices being carried out across the industry, and they expressed their appreciation for the skill, commitment, and precision shown by our workforce. This aligns with Alltask’s continued engagement with TICA, including site-based collaboration and support for industry training initiatives such as apprentice development, where Charlie Griffin-Jones has also played an active role.
This recognition is a credit to everyone involved in delivering insulation works at Grain LNG. Thank you to Charlie and the wider Alltask team for representing the business so well and showcasing our capabilities to the industry.
