Recent photos from Waterfront UTC! We introduced a new activity, never done in a school setting before. The focus initially, was on year 12 students who will join the 6th form in September, but we also ran the activity during UTC week for year 9 and 10 students. We presented them with an engaging scaffold activity, allowing them to construct and dismantle a scaffold stage that was a fantastic hands-on experience.
Our Alltask volunteers closely supported and guided the students. These interactive experiences develop hand eye coordination and help to prepare students for future engagements with employers during the remainder of their education. Seeing the positive engagement and eagerness of the students was rewarding and reinforces our commitment to providing valuable learning opportunities for young people.
We look forward to our next visit to Waterfront UTC to deliver more activities. Collaborating with schools and colleges like Waterfront UTC is a privilege, and we look forward to continuing this partnership.
